XenoTrader is built to connect to either Interactive Brokers (IBKR) TWS or Gateway. It then automatically makes trades based on the integrated strategies and data (such as our latest partnership with Stockminds AI).

How does it manage risk?

XenoTrader considers liquidity, price movement, and predicted movements to adjust position sizes and stop-losses. This ensures that losses are minimized and don't vary in size significantly.

Do I need to keep my computer running?

Yes. In order for XenoTrader to properly execute trades and connect to IBKR, your computer cannot be locked or sleeping. You can always adjust your settings to make sure this doesn't happen.

Can I monitor or close trades that I'm in?

Accepted Answer

XenoTrader will display your current trades and results. If you are using IBKR TWS, you can also easily watch the trades and orders that are sent. If it is trading, then it is not recommended that you modify, cancel, or close trades manually without first stopping the automated trading.
